Argh! It’s tomorrow! I’ve been involved in programming the Chipping Norton Literary Festival and it has been so many months in the planning that I can’t believe it’s finally here!
If you’re in the vicinity of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, PLEASE do pop in over the weekend; there’s SO MUCH brilliant stuff going on and so many brilliant authors to come and see.
Here’s the link to the site with everything you need to know!
My Electrigirl collaborator Cathy Brett and I will be doing our Electrigirl thing tomorrow at 2pm – and then Cathy’s going to create a humungous piece of art in the window of the local bookshop! If you’re around even later than that, come along to hear me and my band FIRST DRAFT playing at 6pm in the Town Hall! We’ve got songs about writing, librarians, ice cream, daydreaming and other things that kids love but that make grown-ups embarrassed 😉

Other amazing children’s authors appearing over the weekend include: Joanna Nadin, John Dougherty, Paul Stickland, Steve Cole, Sarwat Chadda, Atinuke, Teresa Heapy and Sue Heap.
And there’s some stuff for the grown-ups too 😉
Do come and say hi to me if you can! I’ll be in the Crown and Cushion hotel venue most of the weekend!
