Welcome! If you’ve found me via the Sweet Hearts website, I hope you’ll drop in here from time to time. I’m gearing up for publication of a brand new book LOOKING AT THE STARS, and so I felt it was time to move my blogging from the Sweet Hearts site to here – and yay! I can upload pictures again! (it was an Issue on the other site).
I didn’t really have a blog under Jo Cotterill (you can find my Joanna Kenrick website here) and since I now write almost all the time under that name, it seemed sensible to start again. PLUS, this means I can share all kinds of things with my lovely readers, not just books but also my hobbies – crafts and photography! I’m going to start uploading some of the things I’ve made over the years and also some of my favourite photographs. Starting with this one from just a couple of weeks ago!

Isn’t that gorgeous? It’s a dew-drop spider’s web in my garden. I woke up one morning and the garden was just COVERED in dewy webs. In some ways it makes you go EWW because you realise just how many webs are there all the time and you just don’t notice them…on the other hand, it’s a beautiful sight. I liked this one as well:

I bought a very clever camera about a year ago and I’m still trying to get to grips with it. One of these days I’ll go on a camera course and learn how to use it properly.
I’ve come a long way from books, haven’t I? But hopefully I shall soon be able to fill up this blog with all of my favourite things 🙂 Hurrah!
