I went out for a walk yesterday afternoon. There’s a very beautiful magnolia tree three houses down. I love magnolia. When I was young, there was a magnolia tree in next door’s garden. I used to collect the fallen petals and sew them into fairy skirts for my dolls.

My Nan had the most beautiful Magnolia in her garden when we were little kids. I’ve always meant to get one but have never quite got round to it – must make amends!!
I can’t work out whether to get one or not! They are STUNNING but only for about two weeks each year (and they make a terrible mess when all the petals fall off!)…
I know exactly what you mean – I think that’s why I’m dithering too!
